Tell your him in your own words why you want them to insist on a deadline to end the war, and hold Bush accountable for his failed war policies. Keep it simple, and speak from the heart.

Go shopping with your kids, your friends, your neighbors, and buy a whole bunch of stuff that would make a soldier happy to receive (check for restrictions). Then go through a site like Anysoldier.com, OpGratitude.com, or TroopCarePackage.com to send your package to a soldier in Iraq.

Support Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act OF 2007

The House takes up SB 5, a bill to "to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to conduct and support research that utilizes human embryonic stem cells, regardless of the date on which the stem cells were derived from a human embryo." The Senate passed this bill already. President Bush is expected to veto the bill. Tell the House and President Bush your views on this bill and this issue.

Dear President Bush:

You said that genocide would not happen on your watch. Please make good on that promise and lead the effort to create a NATO force to stop the genocide in Darfur.

A militia group backed by the Sudanese government has slaughtered an estimated 400,000 people and driven 2.5 million people from their homes since 2003. U.N. troops are on their way, but will take five more months to arrive in Darfur. NATO forces -- if the U.S. stepped up to moral leadership -- could end the conflict immediately.

America's military is the finest fighting force in the world. The U.S. should apply its unique military assets -- our airlift capabilities, logistical support and intelligence operations -- to aid NATO peacekeeping in Darfur. The time to act is now.
