Monthly meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 5:45 at McAlister's Deli, 740 Greenville Blvd. SE #600 (corner of Charles & Greenville Blvds.) unless otherwise announced by email and listed on the PittDems Calendar
Purposes of Pitt County Democratic Women:
- To support and promote the principles of the Democratic Party
- To encourage women to seek public office and to participate in Democratic Party activities
- To work with the North Carolina Democratic Party Executive Committee to strengthen the Democratic Party in North Carolina
- To assist in organizing and maintaining active Democratic Women's organization at the state, district, and county levels
- To initiate and carry out programs and projects on behalf of the Democratic Party, and to promote the election of Democrats
Membership
Any woman who is an active Democrat in Pitt County and who pledges herself to the principles of the Democratic Party and to work for the election of Democratic candidates through the organization is eligible for membership in the Pitt County Democratic Women.
